Butte-Glenn Medical Society launched the Northern California Medical Education Program in February 2020. The MedED program helps to establish residency programs, recruit residents and medical students to the region, retain physicians and mentor the pipeline of youth from the area who pursue medicine.

Dr. Aldebra Schroll, BGMS' MedEd Physician Champion, seeks to work with middle and high school students interested in pursuing medicine.
